Arnau Bertran

I research inorganic perovskite materials for light-driven hydrogen production from water. My work focuses on the use of Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) spectroscopy to determine the electronic state of dopant and defect centres in these materials, and how they affect their catalytic activity. Before joining the Steier lab, I studied at the University of Oxford (DPhil Chemistry), Imperial College London (MSc Materials) and the Autonomous University of Barcelona (BSc Physics and Chemistry).
